disturbing the scene since 2014 with their innovate looks, eccentric performance style and unique take on drag.

Yuri is a self-taught makeup artist and costume designer who is known for her innovative and unique style of drag. Yuri quickly became a prominent figure on the Auckland Drag Scene for her club kid style performances in underground arts collective Disco Bloodbath and also through stints on the Family Bar Stage. 

Her distinctive style meant she took out the first place title at the 2016 Queen of Queen's Pageant. It also meant she was given a spot on the NZ Fashion Week Runway representing Ryder, featured in the 2018 Cartier Bereavement Charitable Trust calendar as miss April, appeared in an Anchor Milk Advert, featured and did makeup on Shortland Street, putting on numerous of her own shows before inevitably starring on RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under Season 2 as a contestant where she came 6th place and winning Miss Congenitally.
